Trader Joes: New Coffee- Organic Fair Trade

One of my favorite spots at TJ's is the "whats new" section spotlighting new items. I'm going to start reporting on the new items each month, starting with this month's new coffee:

Organic Fair Trade Breakfast Blend.

This coffee is very mild (I often like a coffee a bit darker and stronger)) but it is very pleasant and I could drink a few cups with little diminishing returns. That it is organic and fair trade is cool. The beans are a South American type harvested by a collective of farmers in the Andes. It probably adds $1 or so to the price, but at $5.99 for nearly a pound that is still a good deal. The aroma of the freshly ground beans is quite good. So far this coffee is going to be a must buy from TJs.

Cost: $5.99 for nearly a pound of good, fair coffee is a deal.
Taste: So far one of my favorites at TJs.
Experience: Yay! A new find.

While I get my organic coffee from the one and only Larry's Beans, I do go to Trader Joe's at least 3 times a week. Their fair trade organic cocoa is amazing, and you can always count on them to have plenty of other organic and fair trade products in stock.
